Our goal at The Butchery is to craft artisan made flavorful gourmet sausages, meat products, spreads and sauces that not only satisfy the palate and health but also the HEART as we aim to provide better livelihood to local farmers and support sustainable agriculture.
At The Butchery we aim to provide not only healthy and delicious food but also highly profitable livelihood to local farmers. Most of our farmers in the country do not make enough income to sustain their families. In organic farming, farmers are able to maximize their land by earning more per square foot of crop, they spend less on inputs, they save more on wastage, they are able to send their children to higher education therefore improving their quality of life in the process. The best part of it all, organic agriculture protects and sustains mother nature.
Our ingredient comes from USDA sustainable farms both locally and internationally.
Ingredients that we use that cannot be found locally are sourced and imported from the US with USDA organic quality seal (i.e., organic spices, organic seasonings and flavorings).

The family built a vacation house to enjoy life's simple pleasures - a laid back life with a scenic provincial view different to that of Baguio City, where they are from. A plantation of 4000 mango trees were lined which added beautiful greenery and poultry livestock came about. In late 2014, plans to venture into the 'green scene' has become a priority for operation expansion. The technology and research invested into producing 100% chemical free products evolved from the idea of the food that we eat together on our table to be fresh and healthy. We love our farm, so we like to take care of the land that we share with the animals and plants. We feel like stewards of nature and protectors of our land. This is our healthy farm lifecycle. The most rewarding feeling is that we are able to share this beautiful farm experience with the entire family- keeping our roots to the ground and intertwined with one another, to build a green and healthy world for tomorrow. Being a Filipino-Japanese family, we have a heavy influence from both cultures. The resourcefulness of Filipinos and the detail-oriented Japanese which we apply to our business practices. 'Teraoka' literally translated into English is 'Temple on a Hill'. Like our name, this hill has become iconic to us and as we continue to grow our sacred garden of love, we extend our welcome to enjoy our sanctuary!

We were first known for our sausages, but we have now become even more popular for our marinated spring chickens, spreads and breakfast products like nuggets, popcorn and adobo flakes.
We only use organic muscovado for our sugar and rock sea salt for our salts.
Our fresh sausages come in either a doubles pack (pack of two approximately 240g) except for longganito, or a sampler pack (1 sausage for each of The Butchery's 7 pioneer flavors #1-7 below). All our variants have been a bestseller at one month or another. Choosing which to order will depend on your taste preference and what dish you will be using it for.
